Primos Cafe

This was my first time going to a Primos Cafe. I had the tumbleweed burger, fries, and strawberry cake. The burger was average, but the fries were generic freezer bag fries, so that was disappointing. The three layer strawberry cake brought some redemption but it came at a steep $4.19.I would come back though because the service at this location was great and their breakfast and blue platters seem like they would be good. But as of now, I feel like Primos missed the mark.

This was my FIRST time trying Primos Cafe. All I can say is, I will NOT be back! I ordered the Blue Plate Special (Fried Chicken, Turnip Greens and Rice & Gravy). My order was wrong and had to be sent back twice!! Once I finally received the food for the third time, the order was still wrong and my sides were now completely cold! The staff did not offer any type of apology. As a matter of fact, the staff didn't have much of a personality at all but they were all young, so you can't expect anything less! I was with a large group, so the entire experience was just totally unorganized. I was expecting better service because of the great reviews from others but I was utterly disappointed. The only redemption was the Strawberry Cake! Their cakes do not disappoint at all. After visually inspecting other patrons food, the pancake breakfast appeared to look scrumptious! All I can say was, this was my first visit and my last visit to Primos Cafe.

Bright and clean restaurant, very well maintained. Our breakfast was tasty and the portions were fair.For those who don't know, this type of restaurant doesn't have table-service. You place your order at the counter, where you come in. They give you a number and your drink-cup and you serve yourself. When your order is ready, they do bring it to you, but you are on your own for refills, etc.
